Gateway to the Surf Coast and Geelong

I adored the homely and welcoming atmosphere, made evident by the homemade granola (best cereal that I have had in 38 years of life) and milk, teas, blankets (on the sofas and in the bedroom), etc. The host even helped me to hoist my large suitcase up the stairs. The studio is so spacious that I would actually call it an apartment. While there is no kitchen sink, the bathroom sink is sufficiently large that it can be utilized for washing dishes. The hosts have thought of everything; they even supply a basin and dishwashing liquid. If your budget is 150 per night or below, you cannot do better than this. Previous reviewers are nitpickers, honestly. This is a home away from home. It was a bespoke sojourn.

It would be nice if the hosts were to trim the bush near the stairs on the front porch and the leafless tree in front of the house.

Location good. No breakfast required. Hosts very obliging. Facilities modest but adequate and comfortable.

Lovely comfortable home. Very well suited for me and my son competing in basketball tournament at Beyond Bank Stadium. Very comfortable rooms with a nice homely feel all around. Terri and Ian were delightful.

The location was great for us to access the city, coast and surrounds. The hosts were very welcoming allowing us into their home and helpful on info of their area. The place was very clean and comfortable, no kitchen facilities but the hosts were happy to take our dishes and clean them each day. Fresh cows milk and homemade muesli was a wonderful welcome gift.

Small bathroom was a challenge for my dad, a bit older. No kitchenette but overall we had what we needed.

Plenty of room, all you need

Provided people understand that you are staying in the upper portion of an existing home with the owners downstairs it’s all great, if you thought it was a seperate dwelling that would be a bit of a surprise!
