Great location and convenience.

It rained all day at got a little cold, and I could have used a blanket.

Everything was perfect for a short stay.

I wasn’t sure where to go when I arrived and it was very dark. Maybe put some lights on for guests that have never been there before.

Close to airport though the official taxi driver did rip us off - (newly arrived and didn't quite know how much the colones were worth) Room was functional.

Shower fixture looked rather unsafe. A little hard to find the entrance, but people on the street late at night knew which house was the BnB. (The taxi may not drive down the street, so you will need to walk a little). Paying in cash is annoying because the amounts are not even so you need change. There was no interaction with any staff as we arrived late and left early. I understand the convenience, but coupled with the need to leave exact change, it was challenging.

Very usefull place close to the airport and as well to the centre of Alajuela. We felt there like in our home. Rooms are little tiny, but one can get better idea like normal Ticos live. We felt very welcome here.

Very clean

When I arrived, nobody was there to even let me in. No doorbell, phone, only a person who doesn’t speak English, and didn’t communicate with me. The other guest helped me check in.

It's a really affordable option to stay in this area if you don't want to spend a lot of time in your room! It's a bit small if you're travelling with a few people, but it's a great location and clean, has air conditioning, and the money goes directly to a local family. It's a really easy walk to the beach and close to lots of food and drink. The listing is very accurate and the host was lovely.

Friendly owner , helpful with things , location is perfect / close to the airport . Good price/value relation. Clean and super well equipped kitchen .
