Jaipur Marigold Homestay

We stayed in a really lovely room here during our Jaipur visit. Very clean and comfortable with good wifi and hot water. The outdoor space is very nice too! Near a few good restaurants and big grocery store.

Location - we actually really liked that it was in a smaller neighborhood away from the touristy city center but if you want to squeeze in a lot of sightseeing in a short period of time it might be a bit far away.

I had a very nice stay here. Food was good and nearby. Location is calm and well maintained terrace.

They should try to keep bedsheets fresh as it was not fully clean.

Everything was clean especially considering the Indian standards of hygiene, that was on of the best rooms we had in our 2 months in the country. The common areas were nicely decorated and comfortable. The host was very helpful with everything that we needed.

The location is very far from every attraction and there is no public transport available. Finding a tuk tuk was not extremely expensive, but it was a challenge sometimes. Also although we had hot water available, the water pressure was very low and sometimes we didn’t have water at all

Ratan who runs the homestay is also a tour guide so I was given an excellent tour of the city for a very reasonable price. Ratan also dropped me at the train station near his house on the morning I left without charge and helped me to catch the train. The homestay is a 2 minute walk from Kandlewals, a good restaurant with both local and Indian food and coffee. In the morning Ratans wife made me coffee because I asked for it. It was a lovely homestay and gave me a good insight into what a typical Indian household is like. I am very grateful to Ratan and his family for having me and I very highly recommend this homestay!.

If you go anywhere what do you look for cleanliness right? The most thing I like was cleanliness and behavior. Room and toilet was neat and clean. Owner was very very helpful and humble. I would say this was my one of the best homestay. Owner of the property went above and beyond to ensure that all off our needs were met, making us feel like valued guests. I would definitely recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay in Jaipur. I also loved the small toches like putting painting on the walls and fresh flowers on the terrace. Owner and his son both were quite knowledgeable person. They also told us where can we get good food in reasonable cost. Overall my stay was superb
