Great location if you have a night to spend in Arusha before your safari and need something easy

Even with an hour of trying to heat the water, the shower only stays hot for 20 seconds. The beds are too short (even for me, and I’m a short woman) Left after one night in search of a hot shower and glad we did.

Mambo & Jambo House is a pleasant place from which to explore Mwanza. The common areas were comfortable and the dorm was adequate. While the host was not present for most of our stay, she was responsive to questions and very helpful.

The dorm is separate to the main house which is locked at night and could not be accessed easily when we needed on both mornings, requiring us to wake the staff. The size of the blanket was on the small side.

It was really nice place to stay. Strong wifi, comfortable common space, and spacious kitchen. We decided to come back here after the tour of Serengeti National Park.

There was only one shower room for everyone, so we need to be careful for the timing to take shower.
