Rock&Wood Cozy House

The location is near most attractions in Xi Hu and the host is very friendly and warm. It feels like I am staying with my extended family.

Nothing much to pick on and it's a home stay. If there's more entertainment (TV channels) in the room will be better as we're kind of stuck for a bit due to the rain. The family suite was also not connected which we thought it was.

A cozy homestay. Staff was friendly and spend time to interact with us. Sharing experience and recommend places to visit. The location is near the Tai Zi Wan Garden, Xi Hu's Su Ti is like 30mins walk from the homestay. They provide different type of breakfast on our 2 night stay. There a few restaurants around the neighbourhood that provide decent local food. There is also a convenient store within 3 mins walk. In fact, this was my second time staying here, and still they provided excellent service.

The place was in the quieter part of West Lake, yet getting to all the popular sites was easy. The hostess was very kind, informative, and attentive. Thumbs up!!

First of all, Vivian, the host, is a very friendly, helpful and kind lady that made my stay very comfortable and cozy through: 1) she helped me out with Alipay installation (which is a must at least in Hangzhou); 2) greeted me with tea and homemade cookies; 3) let me taste some other sweet stuff with nuts (delicious by the way); 4) washed my jeans (nothing couldn’t get wet in those rainy days, even the clothes in the luggage); 5) provided some recommendations for sightseeing, etc. Secondly, the place is really clean and cozy. It is really clean as my nose was not blocked. Also, spacious room with everything that you need. And, of course, tasty breakfast (homemade as well).

I wish the place was a bit closer to the bus station but otherwise it’s all great.
