"Friendly, Private, and Comfortable stay with Everything I Needed :)"

Everything was great! David and family are friendly and I felt comfortable immediately. It's exactly as described: you're in a room in their house but you can come as you please very privately, you have everything you need, and they even provided some extras like tea and coffee, a little kettle, and so on. There is a bus stop right around the corner with easy access to Oxford and Oxford station etc; but I myself love walking and would listen to some audiobooks as I walked through the park (around 35-40 minutes) to Oxford. In Botley itself there are plenty of shops with whatever you need, even a Decathlon where I finally replaced my broken backpack. David is friendly and flexible and communicative.

It does not make sense that a client can be denied refund because of mistake due to the same property name being used in a different city. When I asked for a refund and explained exactly what had happened, the owner initially confirmed that he understood my situation, but then falsely claimed that Booking.com was responsible for issuing the refund. I contacted Booking.com, who confirmed that this was incorrect and that the owner himself was responsible for processing the refund. They even contacted him directly by email, which he chose not to respond to. When I confronted him with this and exposed the inconsistency in his statements, he then offered to refund only 50%, which I refused to accept. This is where customer service truly matters. If a property owner behaves in this way when a genuine issue arises, then the reviews they receive do not reflect how problems are actually handled in real situations.
