We liked the peaceful situation and the friendliness shown by the hosts. We also liked the large walk in shower room , the flexibility over breakfast and the comfortable beds. We felt that we got a lot of space with exclusive use of sitting room, bedroom, dining room and shower room (just sharing kitchen with owners). There is just the one room rented out so it is quite private.

We weren't always clear which food was communal and which was not and ate one of the host's cakes. They were very nice about it though. The only complaint was that there was a smell of smoke

This place was an absolute gem of a find. The hosts Al and Jan go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and accommodating as possible. Would highly recommend and we will be returning again soon ☺️

We had a fantastic time, staying at Alan and Jan's Apartment plus garden and breakfast. It was very clean, spacious and homely. Both made us feel very welcome. We would highly recommend this Apartment for everyone surging for a home from home when travelling👌👍

superb choice at breakfast, ideal location 20 min walk to town centre and waterloo station,, decent parking off street, friendly atmosphere, lovely large walk in shower with all amenities supplied.
