"Made a lovely change from staying in a chain hotel. And better value!"

A charming, comfortable place to stay with all the necessary modern conveniences. Ted was friendly and welcoming. Very simple but adequate breakfast facilities available. Awoken by a cockerel crowing, which confirmed its bucolic credentials. Ducks in the garden completed the picture of rural bliss.

Its location is a little off the beaten track, which makes it difficult to find in the dark ( my fault for arriving late!)

The area was great ken was lovely and helpful, great place to stay and we would stay again. lots of animals in the area which was lovely to see.

nothing wrong with the accommodation or area, the only thing ill say if you need a taxi to prebook in advance as its hard to get one. we went to a wedding in the area and had trouble getting a taxi. ken did offer to help if we was really stuck which I thought was very nice of him but we was ok.

Ted was very welcoming and helpful. There were lovely extras in the form of fridge, toaster and breakfast ingredients.
