Right in the middle of Drewsteignton. Charming village, fortunately protected from visiting coach parties by a maze of narrow lanes. Interior of village pub is pretty much unchanged since the early 20th century. Handy for Castle Drogo. Wonderful walks for the energetic, try the loop out to Castle Drogo, then along the Teign to Fingle Bridge, and back. Host (Sally) is friendly and knowledgeable. Good choice of breakfast.

Room only just big enough for two. Bathroom shared with host. To be fair, the price reflects this. Wifi works as well as can be expected in a village with no broadband.

Sally is a wonderful host and great company, kindly showed us around and cooked a delicious full English breakfast in the mornings.

Small room but very well equipped with a great variety of teas and coffee in the room as well as a microwave.

The small double room was ok for my partner and myself with our dogs. Cooked English breakfast was good. Personalised service.

Sally a very welcoming host, very good cooked breakfast. Very relaxed, lovely locaction in beautiful quiet village Drewseinton, I hope to stay again.

Sally our host made us feel very welcome. We liked the village location very much and it was near to Castle Drago, which we wanted to visit the next day. Parking was easy and we went for a short drive to Fingle Bridge, which was lovely. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed seeing the hedgehog at the property the evening before.

It was a very hot day due to the heatwave and therefore our room was hot. But we had the windows open and the room cooled down so we could sleep well.

Sally was an exceptional host. Nothing was too much to ask for her and she really went out her way to accommodate me. The room itself is very cosy, good selection of tea and coffee with your own mini-fridge, and a fab view onto the square. The location is superb, right next to pubs, the post office and the bus stop. I had a lovely, peaceful stay. Thank you Sally!

Location is perfect very friendly locals didn't want to leave would definitely recommend 👌
