Adara Homestay

Schöne gepflegt Unterkunft. Es gab leckeres Frühstück und eine schöne Gemeinschaftsküche in der man auch gut etwas selber kochen kann. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Zudem in laufweite des Bahnhofs.

Nos ha encantado quedarnos en ADARA Homestay. La habitacion era bonita y espaciosa, estado de limpieza impecable y las zonas comunes son muy cómodas. Tommy ha sido un anfitrión fantástico y nos ha ayudado con la organización de la expedición a Ijen. Si vuelvo a Banyuwangi, repetiré con ellos sin dudar!

La casa está un poco alejada del centro, pero para las actividades que se suele hacer en Banyuwangi, no supone un problema.

La camera è ampia e ha un arredamento tipico del luogo. È possibile gustare un'ottima colazione preparata dallo staff o utilizzare un'ampia cucina comune.

Il bagno è esterno e la porta di congiunzione con la camera si chiude male, lasciando passare zanzare e altri piccoli animali. Il bagno non è confortevole, abbiamo infatti trovato numerose zanzare. Manca uno specchio in camera

The place is very aesthetic, peaceful and the staff is very helpful. They helped us with the mobile charger since we did not have one and also with the laundry.

There is no transportation available in the vicinity.. bike/ car etc to roam around. We had to go to Banyuwangi station to arrange for a scooty on rent. Maybe that could be arranged in the property.

De kamer was ruim en heel stijlvol. Er is een keuken waar je heerlijk kan zitten en spelletje spelen of koken.

De douche was koud, en er staat niet duidelijk bij dat deze kamer dus een koude douche heeft. Ook is de badkamer een stukje groener/bruiner dan op de foto.

Unfortunately, our experience was bittersweet. When we arrived at night, we discovered there was no hot water in our room. We pointed it out to the host, who confirmed it and said it was mentioned on the page. Technically it is, but only in a single sentence hidden in the host’s biography, not under the room description where it should be clearly stated alongside the other amenities. From reading other reviews, it seems this is a strategy to attract guests who otherwise might not book if they knew in advance. We had just come off a long two-day trek on Bromo and booked this place specifically to relax and take a proper shower — which wasn’t possible. The nights here are also chilly, so the lack of hot water made it even more uncomfortable. On top of that, the mosque calls to prayer at 4 AM are extremely loud, and the location itself is quite isolated. All in all, while the setting is nice, the experience didn’t meet our expectations, and I personally would not return.

Lovely homestay, room was great - good nice and comfortable to be in. Can arrange Ijen tour through the homestay and was really good and well organised. Kitchen was appreciated.

Location depending on what you’re there for. Not too many shops or restaurants around but for the Ijen tour and to relax it’s great.
