"Fantastische plek - Ijen Baluran Djawatan"

We verbleven 3 nachten in Adara Homestay. Het is een hele mooie locatie buiten het centrum van Banyuwangi. Tommy is een goede host. Hij was weinig aanwezig, maar steeds bereikbaar via Whatsapp. Hij regelde voor ons een uitstap naar Baluran, Ijen en Djawatan. Allemaal fantastische belevingen! We raden het zeker aan.

Het ontbijt was heerlijk, maar elke dag hetzelfde.

1. The bed is cosy and clean. 2. The interior designs are stylish.

Only suitable for those who are after designs rather than utility. The condition of the equipment is disappointing, except for the bed. Stains are spotted everywhere. The toilet seat was unbelievably worn. Besides, one has to wearily lock the bathroom door each time; otherwise, it will slide wide open, inviting all kinds of small creatures to share the room. Be prepared for the fact that snails, slugs, mosquitos, ants, and other creatures will accompany you during the shower.

"Geen goede locatie zonder auto (middle of nowhere)"

De locatie lag voor ons te ver weg van een centrum met restaurantjes (zonder auto).We hadden deze accommodatie geboekt op aanrader van een gids voor bezoek vulkaan Ijen. De locatie zag er op de foto's leuk uit. Maar in het echt was het een stuk minder. Het gebed vanuit naast gelegen moskee galmde hard door de kamer. De buitendouche leek leuk op de foto maar was een muggenbende. Uiteindelijk besloten we ons verlies van €23 te nemen en hebben ander hotel dichter bij Ijen geboekt.
