Mira Family Homestay

It's dense, but the decoration is unreservedly temple-like and architecturally interesting. The main street in Ubud is noisy with heavy traffic, but it is quiet because it is located on the inside. You can hear birds chirping, and sometimes you can hear the local young people practicing their music. The rooms aren't large, but the beds are just big. The air conditioning is a ceiling fan. I prefer it because I can feel the Balinese atmosphere and the wind from the normal electric air conditioner is going to give me a cold. The hostess explained everything to me and the older lady was very friendly. Hot water was available and Wi-Fi was stable and fast for Indonesia. There were routers and repeaters in various places, so I think they are taking good care of their guests. The innkeeper offered us a car charter so we could get to know the area for a day. The area around the beautiful and vast Jatiluwih rice terrace seems to be their hometown, so you should ask them about it.

Their English proficiency is not that high, so you should check with them if you have a decision to make.

Could do with brighter light bulbs. A bit of confusion about the booking 1/2 hour before arrival, but was sorted out on arrival.

We booked 3 rooms, but they had only 2 rooms so we had to look for another last minute. The place was ok, local, clean, very hot in a room even with fan, but overall ok. Breakfast was good. We also could leave our bags there for couple more hours.

we turned up to the property and they turned us away telling us that they have double booked the room and that they were full and forgot to take a ur room of booking.com so be aware this could happen!

Mira and her family is quite humble and kind hearted.

Room which i got was quite small. No air circulation. Fan speed is not sufficient. Difficult to take luggage to first floor.

Banana pancakes were very yummy. Great location to get around Ubud, Ayu was a great host and very welcoming
