That we had to leave

We had booked the the white and orange orchid rooms but found both located in the back, dark and difficult to access over natural back rocks. Since some other guests had cancelled we could luckily move to the front rooms which have a nice view and are bright. The place has a nice view and breakfast is very good, Staff is friendly and attentive (when they are around).

Getting around is a bit tricky especially for the elderly (like me) and small children (like our almost 2 years old toddler) because of the uneven and dark walkways with the black rocks as steps. The food in the restaurant is good but the big surprise cam at the end of our stay and they put 10% service charge and 10% tax on top of the already not exactly cheap prices. When I complained that that is not written on the menu they said it is written in the welcome words. That is absolutely not acceptable! If you add tax and service (which is okay) then you have to inform your guest about it on the pages with the dishes and prices not somewhere hidden with welcome words nobody reads. I always look at the bottom of a menu for this information. To find out after 4 days left quite a sour taste!

The view is fantastic, swimming pool also looks amazing. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Food was very tasty, i liked breakfast options, also the variety of smoothies. Hotel driver was super helpful and kind.

The cleanliness of room, it wasn't dirty or something bad, but it wasn't clean also. Some spiders web on the walls and corners. Not fresh badsheets, and smell of humidity on the first day. It's time to renovate the room.

De accomodatie zelf was prachtig, alsof je midden in de jungle zat met je kamer. Prachtige tuin en aan de andere kant van de accomodatie bij het zwembad mooi uitzicht op de bergen. Zeer rustige omgeving waar je niets hoorde dan de geluiden van de natuur. De buitendouche was mooi en heerlijk. Het eten van het restaurant werd vers gemaakt en smaakte heerlijk. De driver van de accomodatie is fantastisch! Wat een lieve man en hij reed rustig en veilig :) Tip: Wij zaten in de yellow room, de veranda van de orange room is groter, met een lekkere bank ;)

Het zou fijn zijn als er een waterkoker op de kamer was. Daarbij was niet alles helemaal schoon (de wc bril, schakelmateriaal) en de wastafel liep niet door, verlichting in de badkamer deed het niet en de wc trok lastig door. Kleine dingetjes, maar doet wel iets met de beleving. Verder is deze locatie niet geschikt om vanuit daar te wandelen ( we zijn 1x naar een dorpje gelopen, maar dan moet je wel over de weg). Voor ons geen probleem, maar wel iets om rekening mee te houden.

I came looking for a quiet, peaceful place to hide away, relax, and recharge. I’m so glad I found this place. If you can entertain yourself and are looking for a slice of jungle paradise away from the crowds and noise, i highly recommend it here. The view is spectacular, the whole place is designed with loving attention in the details and the rooms are cosy and gorgeous-mine had a pond flowing around and under it with fish splashing and water gurgling. The hosts are an absolute delight as are all the staff. Thanks to everyone for making my time here so lovely and enjoyable. I like it so much, have extended my stay.

It was perfect for me as I wanted to just read, relax, stare at dragonflies, and ponder. If you need a lot of action, just be aware that you are far from the towns, crowds, and other amenities here (a major plus depending on your outlook) but there are tours advertised here and I think there are also waterfalls and viewpoints nearby if you have transport.

We found everything in that hotel. Swimming pool with a unique view. Tasty food and excellent service. It was very for us to leave from that hotel!
