Heaven in Bali

Contact with Lita prior to arrival was always prompt and appreciated, she arranged a taxi to collect us from Sanur harbour which took away any stresses we would have had to find one. We stayed in the white cottage and the room and surroundings were beautiful. Comfy bed and nice bathroom with constant hot water for the shower. Pool area was beautiful with amazing views across the valley towards the mountains. We stayed for 5 nights to totally relax and this is exactly what we did, we even won an award from Rick for our chilled status 😜 Both Lita and her husband Rick were amazing hosts and always around to speak with. Food was beautiful and always available and good choice for breakfast. Staff were very friendly. Laundry facility available. If we come back to Bali, we would not hesitate to book again 😊

Very tranquil setting. Beautiful staff, rooms and surrounds. Excellent food cooked on the spot. Being a small home stay of 5 rooms, it was easy to meet, chat & share mealtimes with other guests and the owners themselves. Its location makes it a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of towns. Beautiful design, pool and landscaping.

Die tolle ruhige Lage mit Blick über den Dschungel sowie der wirklich traumhaft schöne Garten waren perfekt. Unser Bungalow hat keine Klimanalage und nur einen Ventilator- allerdings haben sich die Temperaturen nachts so angenehm abgekühlt, dass wir in unserer dickeren Decke super geschlafen haben und es auch tagsüber nie zu warm wurde. Der saubere und sehr einladende Pool ist wirklich ein Highlight dieser Unterkunft. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Fruchtshakes waren wirklich die besten, die ich in ganz Bali getrunken hab und das Frühstück (vor allem das Granola) waren super lecker. Auch die kleinen Hütten sind sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir waren mit unserem Roller dort, somit haben wir uns die Abgeschiedenheit bewusst ausgewählt. Man sollte aber wissen, dass ringsherum eher nichts weiter ist und man auf einen Fahrer oder Roller angewiesen ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Preis-Leistung hat gestimmt und wir empfehlen es auf jeden Fall weiter.

Im Badezimmer gab es bzgl. der Sauberkeit noch Luft nach oben. Ansonsten war alles super.

Wat heb ik hier genoten. Alle zintuigen kwamen tot leven: het uitzicht, de geluiden van de natuur, de geuren en smaken van de keuken, de zon en de massages. Een bijzonder gesprek gehad met de eigenaar Rick, die jarenlang retraites en coaching heeft gegeven. Een man die echt wat te vertellen heeft, maar ook enorm goed kan luisteren. Daarnaast genoten van de warme gastvrijheid van zijn vrouw (mede-eigenaar) Lita, de lieve staff, de fijne mensen die hier samen met mij verbleven en de prachtige accommodatie zelf. Alles bij elkaar maakte dit verblijf extra bijzonder. 🌺✨ Het is dat ik niet hoger dan een 10 kan geven… maar dat was het absoluut. 💫 De naam van de accommodatie zegt het zelf al, Heaven in Bali en dat is het!

Un Havre de paix, vue magnifique, personnel agréable, petit déjeuner et dîner délicieux. Demande de scooter et chauffeur pour un transfert, fait en 2mn. Tout est simple. Je recommande ++

It feels like heaven :) if you want to experience an authentic jungle/ rain forest stay, you are right here. The silence is only interrupted by the noises of the animals. The view of the infinity pool is breathtaking. The accommodation is in bungalows with outside baths. Very nice and authentic. Not luxurious which is also not expected. We stayed 3 days, 2 days chilling and charging our social batteries and 1 day we rented a motorbike. You can drive 1h with very nice views to Lake Batur and visit the hot springs. Perfect day trip. Also recommended: order the slow cooked duck for dinner 1 day in advance.

No air-conditioning: from temperature point of view this is not a problem because temperature drops to 18 degrees at night. But it was difficult to get things dry. On the plus side: it's soooo calm at night. We enjoyed that a lot.
