Joevanna Cottage

Aussi ( staff) was friendly and accommodating. The room was very basic - but the air con worked and the room was clean. Joevanna is in a good location for getting to places. Not too far from the beach and main road- and it's not crazy busy around you. Easy to get to everywhere from on a bicycle. It's Indonesia- and its budget accommodation - so don't expect anything more. All accommodation other than seriously swanky places will only have cold water taps in the showers - but its so humid and warm that its totally fine. The pics on these websites never really look like the reality. Enjoy it for the adventure. Take your sense of humour and good grace - and roll with it while enjoying your stay on the Island. Swim, snorkel. dive ( at GILI DIVERS- BEST shop on the Island with great dive instructors), cycle and be curious. And remember it is a Muslim country so be respectful to the locals - cover up a bit...no bikinis in the street please :)

Some things need to be attended to maintenance wise which would leave a better impression for guests. Take your sense of humour and good grace - and roll with it while enjoying your stay on the Island.

Beautiful place !! They have bikes and laundry (a bit expensive) . Everything was clean and the personal was so nice. The location was 10 mnts from the harbour walking

The roads are a bid bad but I think is a problem of Gili T in general

The staff were amazing, I sadly can’t remember their names but they were super helpful which doing a super fast laundry service and the room was cleaned twice during my 4 day stay. Once again shout out to the staff, please be sure to leave them a tip or similar, I bought them a pack of beers and they were over the moon!

Everything was great, no complaints!

We liked that there is an optional breakfast that is good. The owner is very helpful and kind, he also offers bike rental. The airconditioning is very strong. The location is practical because it is al walkingdistance from the port.

We changed rooms inbetween. The bathroom in the room located downstairs smelled really bed. And in the room that looks like a cottage was a bathroom really nice but everything is really loud, you can hear everything wind, animals... We also didn't get any hot water.
