Joevanna Cottage

Joevana Cottage is a nice place to stay. We had one of the upper rooms, it was spacious enough for two suitcases. We also liked the area in front of the room, it was great for ordering in food, have a beer or just relax. For us, the location was good, only a couple of minutes away from the main road, so no party music at night. The staff was always friendly and helpful.

The roof was very thin, so we could hear the mosque quite loudly (you can hear the mosque probably everywhere on the island) and you can also hear the music from the hostel next door, but they always left at 10pm so that didn't bother us. But if you have a light sleep, this is probably not the best place for you to stay. Es

Very friendly staff and convenient location

Basic family room, large bathroom with hot water. Able to rent bikes from there.

Mosque very loud in the morning but this is the same for a lot of places. No filter water available. Curtains let in a lot of light in the mornings. No fridge in the room.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Location was great. Room was comfy and great value for money.

So booked 3 nights and stayed 2. Had a good chat with the staff about my issues. Asked for a refund for the last night but seemed like owner really didn't care even though staff reported it to him Main issue: construction right next door to my room - starting from 8ish to 12ish. Think they're expanding a bit. Noises consist of large constant thumps and hammering. Impossible to rest. And rebooked elsewhere. The waste of time an issue. I tend to book places with good reviews so I can just relax on my holiday Extra issues : cockroach in the bathroom, wall had space where mosquitos could enter, Soap dispenser is broken. I'm okay with lack of amenities if it's a decent rest but it wasnt.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our flight got delayed so we couldn't go to Gili the day we planned and the staff really helped us with that. The room was as you see in the photos.

The toilet had a leak so the bathroom was flooded the entire time. Although we didn't complain so they couldn't have known

The place is simple but the treatment is amazing. Within walking distance of all the restaurants and the harbour

My room was a bit loud. The bathroom communicated with the bedroom next door and I could hear the neighbors singing and showering. Also you can hear de Moske at night
