Pele's Place

Quiet location just a little ways up the road from Iboih Beach. I loved the waterfront bungalow! The staff were incredibly friendly and the food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious! Loved every dish I tried... I couldn't have asked for a better stay. Nice swimming area also.

No daily coffee or water, only on first night. This is disappointing because I stayed for almost 1 week. It's a very minor expense to them, and they would've had to do it if there were new guests. Would've appreciated a small discount (or at least coffee and water) since they were spared the burden of having to clean daily for new guests. Also, a real blanket/comforter for the bed would be nice. Only a thin throw blanket was provided.

Peaceful and tucked away, this is a wonderful place to call home for a week or more! The cabins have a forest or waterfront location, with a terrace and hammock to call your own. There’s A/C, hot water, and fast WiFi. The dining area is beautifully set on the water, with snorkelling available directly out front. The food is excellent, but it’s the staff who really shine: Annie, Teatree, and Boy really went that extra mile to make our stay perfect! I would love to come back.

The sloped walkway is covered in moss and can be very slippery, but they were beginning to power-wash it clean while we were there.

Lovely place/complex. Staff great. Their restaurant serves very good food. Location of place is great, right on the edge of the sea. Great snorkelling. It is some way from the ferry terminal tho, and the village only has snack type and souvenirs. 2 good coffee shops tho. A fabulous place just to relax, swim, snorkel and soak up the sun for a few days.

The not so fitting doors so the bugs and mosquitoes come in😒 The slope/hill by reception is lethal after it’s rained, very slippery - needs a good clean to rid of slippery moss. 🙃

The view is amazing. No mosquito. Staff is very helpful, friendly, and honest. The room is clean. There is free water refil.

You might need vehicle to reach the place because the road is a bit up and down. Coming by foot could be tiring.

Great waterfront bungalow..Good AC, hot water shower and bed. Great restaurant,perhaps the best in the area. Good snorkeling right on your doorstep. They rent motorcycles to see the island. Friendly staff.

It's a 20 min walk to the village, not recommended at night.

Annie & Boy took great care of us during Ramadan, when most places were closed. Very kind, helpful, & patient people. Excellent food & service too. Thank you! Our room (B1) was amazing - balcony ON the water - fantastic snorkeling just feet away. The property is perfectly placed too - about 1 kilometer from the more touristy/crowded area of Iboih - an easy walk (but 1 hill). Makes a great getaway spot.

No window screen in our bathroom - mosquitoes came in. Some water damage around the entry door.
