After a 12 hour train journey , we arrived tired and hungry. We were welcomed by the family so warmly and offered to make us food despite the lateness of our arrival . I must say it was a most delicious Tali , Sharada is a fabulous cook and her food is fantastic. It very peaceful and calm ,nothing is too much trouble . A truely delightful experience . Everything you need can be organised for you , Tuk Tuk tours or simply a trip into the old Hampi village. It’s definitely the best place to eat in my opinion.

A minor but helpful addition would be a table beside the bed. I used the chair but a small table with a small lamp would be wonderful

A calm space just outside Hampi. Originally I planned on hiring a push bike to get around so thought the added distance ok, but once in India I realised it was far too hot to do that. You need a tuktuk. A shared tuktuk into Hampi from the road outside costs 50Rs, and big tours 500Rs or so. The lady running this place, Sharda is like your temporary mother. I think she provided the calm - as well as the food and laundry. The food was cheap (breakfast 150, dinner 250, milkshakes 100). Location-wise it's a good choice. I considered staying in Hampi itself but read too many bad reviews (dated and noisy), so I opted either here or even further away in the new builds in Kadirampura. I walked out there to see and am happy I made the right choice. Aircon, fan, hot water, nice people.

No option to pay by card, but ATM is about 100metres away out of the gate and left (at a bank in Kadirampura). One suggestion: floor squeegee for drying bathroom floor after shower. They have them in North India but I haven't come across them in the South yet.

Very nice room with good, clean facilities. Really helpful family - helped get around the sights of Hampi by bike and arranged tuk tuk to pick up from station Lovely home cooked food for breakfast and dinner and sorted laundry for me. Nice and quiet but not too far from the main ruins.

Our stay here was amazing. The hosts were very kind and made sure we have the most comfortable stay ever. Aunty's food is delicious as well. The location of the stay is perfect and very safe. Thanks a lot for hosting us.
