Saptami Hampi Homestay

Lovely location amongst the palms - the balcony area is great for sitting out and relaxing watching birds and monkeys. It's a great place to relax after exploring Hampi. It's between the two main sites - we walked and cycled to almost everywhere very easily on quiet roads. Staff are very friendly and very kindly allowed us to use room / shower / balcony after check out as our train wasn't until 9pm.

Bathroom is old and needs a deep clean, drains can be a bit smelly. Felt quite expensive for the facilities but maybe that's how it is for Hampi. Breakfast to be included would help.

Great host … couldn’t do enough for us .. coffee / tea whenever asked … and the breakfast was substantial and amazing…. Dosa just kept coming

The location is exceptional. Very close to all Major Hampi attractions. You can take a break in between sightseeing to recharge yourselves. Hosts Mrs. Rajini and Mr. Gowda are exceptional and courteous. They arranged a guide for us ( Hemanta ) who was also excellent. Excellent hospitality. clean bathrooms, mosquito-proof rooms. nice serene atmosphere which can help you to destress. Very close to Mango tree restaurant which again was exceptional. They have couples rooms, family rooms and deluxue rooms

I will totally miss the breakfast of the lady. It is the best I had in India and it was even inclusive. Do not miss it! Breakfast time is from 8 to 10. There are two kind of rooms, standard upstairs (very basic) and deluxe downstairs (much better). In the standrard room upstairs one night my air condition decided to play tractor sounds so I put if off. The second night the air con stopped working by itself completely as a revange. Something like that did not happen in the deluxe room downstairs. I highly recommedn to book a deluxe room. Though the pillows in all kind of rooms are hard and uncomfy. The sourounding with the rice fields and palm trees is very beautiful and looks like in Bali. In total there are many homestays in Hampi but this one seem to be a better one, with some comfort and that amazing breakfast.

The WiFi is not stabile in the house and often stops working. This house is a bit off the centre of Hampi that's why you need a riksha, taxi or a bicycle. It takes like 20 minutes by bicycle to Hampi but with this heat and humidity it is hard sports ; ) The advices of the lady were alas not helpful, neither the restaurant was good nor the bicycle hiring place - they overpriced me a lot.

Everything! Amazing location surrounded by nature, you cannot imagine more beautiful place. Hosts were extremely nice, we got tea, coffee at every time we asked for, i could say the best homestay we had❤️
