This is an excellent choice in a wonderful location if you have a stopover in Kunming. Nick, the owner was so kind and did everything to make my stay perfect in every way. He picked me up from the airport, took me back the next day, and gave me a room upgrade all for free. Modern room facilities including a sunken bath, kind hospitality, and the position of this hotel in an amazing Chinese village all helped to create a most memorable stay.

More choice at breakfast would be nice.

"Only stayed for short night as arrived in the wee hours of the morning."

Breakfast was simple but filling. The hotel is deep inside a village with narrow streets and a bit far from the airport.

Booked a 3 person room and the extra bed was hastily arranged without pillow and blanket.

Everything. The staff were amazing, the place is spectacular and the village is amazing. The manager picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. The whole experience was amazing
