The home stay is in the middle of nature. The surroundings are so beautiful and greenery. The incharge, guy name 'Hemlet' was very helpful and well behaved. And I really like the food especially the local Rice. It was full of flavors. Oh I dreamed about that Rice 🤭 So overall it was fantastic staying with Mepa 🥰

Bathroom is bit far from the cottage...very uncomfortable if u hv a female partner... location is bit remote & to reach the home stay u have to walk approx 50-70 steps on downward trail with ur luggage which is tiresome.

"Mepa Homestay is a great stay especially if you have other guest staying with you."

After hiking for about 4.5hrs, Mepa Homestay couldnt have been at a better location. Edward and his family were very helpful. Edward's aunt cooked delicious Jadoh. Edward was also my guide to Rainbow Falls. Bathroom is shared but very clean.

The place is close to the trekking way to the living root bridge, double decker bridge and the rainbow waterfall. Very nicely built and environment friendly stay.

There is lots of plastic and liquor bottles on the compound.

cozy little hut, kind family who helped my friend when he was sick. the meal they provided (with payment) at the end of our trek was amazingly delicious. simple but so tasty and satisfying after all the trekking I did. you’re at the beginning of the path to living root Bridges and rainbow falls, which is nice to be able to rest after all the steps down and back up

electricity outlet in our room worked for about 20 minutes out of our 2 night stay. not a huge issue if you’d like a small village experience, but bringing a battery pack would be helpful so you can have a phone to take pictures etc. you also, probably won’t have service. to return back to the main part of the village, (where you can take a taxi) you have to go up the stairs for about 15 minutes. please consider bringing a backpack and not a rolling suitcase, it will make it easier to climb the stairs bed was also very very hard.
