Loved the host. She gave us good tips for what to do, where to eat close by (multiple options: better quality and cheap options), what reasonable prices were for the tuktuks, and what the best time was to go out for activities. She gave us a warm welcome, and was very flexible. We checked out at 9:00 am and could leave our bags there until our bus left which was 22:00 at night.

Nice room, good location and Vani was super helpful organising trips and taxis for us. Would recommend.

The lovely homestay owner Vani is very responsive, she welcomed us like family and did above and beyond to make sure we have a comfortable stay. It's located in a village in new Hampi, a few kms from old Hampi bazaar but no problem as we toured around all sites by auto. We actually enjoyed the Indian village life. Our auto driver Mani is Vani's brother. He provided a good service. We toured in the morning, returned to the homestay to rest during the hottest time, set out again after mid afternoon. This pace worked perfectly well. There is a small store 100m from the homestay, some small restaurants by 10 min walk (Hampi Cafe is our favourite). What we love most is Vani's home cooking. She cooked us traditional southern Indian breakfast every morning, delicious and very reasonably priced. She always made to order to ensure freshness. The roof terrace is a nice space for our morning stretch while watching sunrise. Wifi is faster than some other hotels we had stayed. Vani also provided laundry service at very low price.

The double room is a little small, the premise doesn't have a dedicated common area for guests to hang out/relax although we can have meals at a small patch on the ground. Some property descriptions aren't accurate: definitely no pool, no washing machine although not a big deal. A bit disappointed that there is no kettle as we love to be able to make tea, thankfully Vani provided boiled water at no charge.

Cramped room and, if you are sensitive to your surroundings, the most ugly tiles on the walls of the whole place. Outside, view over a garbage dump. A deluxe room doesn't include AC

It was a real good place near Hampi in a village and there at end of a little road. So it's very calm, no cars or motorcycles. A little kiosk is 150m away and a very nice breakfast restaurant with best food in the morning until 7pm. But the best is to met Vani, the owner and her family. She works as a travel agent and helps in every situation. She booked a train for me, also a bicycle at Hampi and often asked if I like to have lunch. Very very friendly and nice person who makes a good win-win situation.
