Rks Homestay

Owner offered to help organizing many things and is well reachable over what's app, prepared good Indian breakfast. Room and bathroom was clean.

Facilities of room description do not match very well. We didn't see any rooftop pool, there's no dedicated indoor space for having food, nor was there a kitchen or refrigerator in the room. Curtains are more or less see-through.

Our stay with Vani was perfect. Right from the time we booked she was available to message and replied very quickly. She organised a tuk tuk pick up from the train station and stayed in contact as our train was late. Her house is very clean and tidy as was our room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and pillows. Vani was available to cook breakfast and dinner at our request at great prices. Her food is prepared fresh and hot and is very enjoyable. Vani has knowledge of the area (as expected) and was able to organise bicycle hire for us to ride around Hampi. I would definitely recommend staying at RKS Homestay with Vani and her family.

Vani could not do enough to help, she is the best host! I lost my charger and she kindly lent me hers. She also booked my train tickets, and advised me on my trip. I had an absolutely wonderful stay, highly recommended! 🙂🙂🙂 Make sure to check out the food when you stay, it is delicious!!!

Vani was an excellent host who served us delicious, home-cooked food for a very reasonable price. She also booked autos for us whenever we needed them and gave us directions to get local buses. The room was comfortable and clean, with hot water available 24/7. An excellent base to explore Hampi from!

Our stay here was amazing. Vani was incredibly kind and let us check in early after our night bus and cooked us amazing breakfasts and dinners during our stay. She also sorted out all our trains which we have had real trouble doing! She was constantly making sure our time in Hampi was perfect whilst giving a very authentic feel to Indian life. The homestay is a short Tuk tuk ride away from the main sites which she happily organised for us every morning to ensure we got the best prices.

Vani welcomes you to her homestay as if you were a member of her family… she shares an authentic moment at breakfast and is always available when needed.

À little far from the sites but it can be done by bus, tuk-tuk or even walking (50' in beautiful landscapes and authentic villages)
