NeckPoint Treasure BNB

The location was close to the Departure Bay ferry terminal which was great. The neighbourhood felt safe and the room was comfortable and clean. Lovely view of the ocean from the house!

There was less privacy than I was expecting. The bedroom is downstairs by the front door but the bathroom is a single general use guest bathroom which is upstairs in the middle of the hosts living/dining/kitchen area. I was only there 1 night but I don't think i'd stay longer than that. It very much felt like staying in the guest room of someone's house. It was very clean and safe but just not very separate/private as I would have expected for a BnB type listing.

Spotlessly clean, beautiful views from shared living room. Good location if you have a car, as away from the busy town area.

Shared bathroom and access to running water is on different floor to bedroom, despite listing stating entire unit on the same level. “Entire unit” description must include bathroom and access to running water. Property not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Comfortable and clean. Felt like home. I was staying for a night before my flight out of Canada. Meeting the hosts was really nice. I had a hot bath too.

Location, layout and yard was fabulous. Gorgeous grounds.

Pipes above unit loud, maybe more insulation or sound barrier.

The advertisement for this room shows a lovely view. Perhaps I did not read the fine print, but it's a basement apartment. Apparently if you went outside and up some stairs along the back of house it would have taken us to a deck with the depicted view. But as it was pouring down rain we were not inclined to hang out outside. The location was disappointing. It's far from town in a neighborhood.

The host made us feel like intruders in their house. It felt like she was very annoyed and angry that we chose and paid their accomodation.
