It´s really calm there with a beautiful, green view! We had 2 big beds with mosquito nets in the room. The water in the shower was warm. The family was really friendly. The breakfast was a lot and very good!

It´s nice that it is more remote, but it is like a 7 min drive on rocky roads. We had a scooter for that. The mosquito nets didn´t fit perfectly (but we didn´t have many mosquitos anyways, so it didn´t bother me too much).

Some days there was no hot water. Also, every day from 5 AM there was a sound playing from the monastery and it woke us up. Location is a little far from center but nothing a short tuktuk ride can't fix

The family who host these rooms are absolutely lovely and so accommodating. Breakfast was lovely with so much to eat! All the rooms have comfortable beds, mosquito nets and is clean. However we would have appreciated shower gel, hot water (as it wasn't warm showers it was Luke warm/cold) bottled water in the room and a hairdryer/kettle. All the rooms do come with fresh bedding, towels, toilet roll and hand soap. Best to access via Tuk Tuk, cars manage but not ideal, great location to go on hikes and walk into Ella town. 20-30 mins walk into town. There is no shop nearby so best to come prepared. Also pay cash for your total stay as no card machine.
