Dhanudi Homestay

The room was spotless, the view from the balcony amazing and the breakfast tasty. The hosts were very friendly and could help us with transport to our next stay.

I loved staying at Dhanudi Homestay in Ella - it was private and comfortable and within a 5 minute walk to the Main Street. Easy access to cafes and restaurants! Also a 5 min walk to start hikes towards Nine Arches or to Little Adam’s peak - a perfect day hike I loved the breakfast and the beautiful owners who helped with every need :)

Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Aufenthalt in Ella und können diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen. Unser Zimmer war groß, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Besonders positiv aufgefallen ist uns das saubere und moderne Badezimmer – hier hat es wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit. Sie standen uns jederzeit mit Tipps und Unterstützung zur Seite und haben dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt haben. Auch die Lage ist hervorragend: In nur wenigen Minuten erreicht man das Zentrum von Ella, sodass Restaurants, Cafés und Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem erreichbar sind. Gleichzeitig ist die Unterkunft ruhig gelegen und bietet eine angenehme Atmosphäre zum Entspannen. Das Frühstück wurde jeden Morgen frisch zubereitet und war ein schöner Start in den Tag. Insgesamt hatten wir eine wunderbare Zeit und haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Vielen Dank für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Leider gab es nebenan ein paar Bauarbeiten und das Zimmer war sehr hellhörig.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A True Home Away from Home in Ella! Our stay at this guest house in Ella was absolutely perfect and one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness. The hosts truly understand the meaning of hospitality. They were incredibly friendly and made us feel like we were part of the family and completely at home. The room was exceptionally spacious, spotless, and maintained to a five-star standard. It had every amenity we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The room was spread over two levels and featured a lovely balcony with breathtaking views of the mountains and lush greenery. Waking up to the sound of birds and enjoying the beautiful scenery of trees and nature every morning was simply magical. The breakfast was outstanding fresh, delicious, generous, and with plenty of variety. It was the perfect way to start each day. If you are looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and memorable stay in Ella, this is the place to be. We highly recommend it and would love to return in the future! Thank you for making our stay so special.

Die Unterkunft war gut gelegen, die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und haben uns gute Tipps bezüglich den Aktivitäten gegeben. Das Frühstück war das beste was wir in Sri Lanka hatten und die Portionen waren sehr großzügig. Wir haben mit vollster Zufriedenheit den Wäscheservice in Anspruch genommen. Ps: die beste Dusche, die wir bisher im Urlaub hatten. 10/10 🙏🏼😊
