Amazing place to stay in Varkala. Roof terrace is so comfy and well equipped. Keegan will make you feel like home and will help you with everything you can imagine to ask. The dogs will melt your heart ❤️

We really enjoyed staying in Baba Luru‘s and starting our vacation in India here. The rooms are very beautiful and clean and the whole property just had a very peaceful atmosphere to it. There is a nice common area and a big garden as well. The Host was super friendly and always ready to help when we had questions.

Keegan couldn’t be nicer and more helpful. The place was clean, a short walk to the beach and shops and a very welcoming vibe and setup!

Loved the family feel here! The 7 dogs make it feel like a home away from home. Suzie keeps a very clean and tidy homestay and Keegan is always on hand to help give good recommendations. Would definitely return.

Baba Luru’s holds a special place in my heart, akin to a sanctuary away from the familiar. Within its embrace, I find solace in truly special company of people and animals, especially among playful dog companions, and a delightful array of animal creatures. One of the highlights is the provision for yoga, allowing for moments of introspection and rejuvenation. Moreover, Baba Luru’s acts as a magnet for those seeking the spiritual essence of Varkala, fostering connections with kindred spirits. In Keegan, our affable host, I found not just a caretaker but a genuine friend. Eagerly anticipating my return, I am already envisioning my next journey to Varkala, with Baba Luru’s as the focal point of my plans. Nothing, everything was as perfect as heaven!

Baba Luru’s is a beautiful two-floors cottage surrounded by a peaceful garden where you can enjoy the beauty of Varkala in a real authentic way. Keegan will welcome you as a friend and introduce you to the other guests, give you a lot of tips, suggest places to visit. In Baba Luru’s you can enjoy a yoga practice on the rooftop terrace at sunrise, have a relaxing time reading on the hamac, share a dinner with other guests. Baba Luru’s is a perfect place if you’re looking for both a chilly atmosphere and a social environment. Located only 15 minutes by foot to the cliff, room are spacious and clean, with AC and fan. Don’t miss Susie’s Kerala lunches, she’s a great cook and a nice person to talk to ! Nine dogs live in the place but they never bother you unless you’ll allow them to come close for a cuddle or two.

The property has a lovely charm about it, plus the host (Keegan) makes you feel right at home. It really feels like a home from home and seems to great fellow travellers. Having dogs at the property was a nice bonus!
