Doeloerkoe Homestay

Doeloerkoe means "our family" and that is truly how everyone who works here makes you feel. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed by friendly faces until the moment we all hugged goodbye. They offer wonderful breakfast food, constant tea or coffee if you like it, and an excellent list of local activities to be seen. I only stayed for a couple of nights, but if I were to return to Solo it would mostly be to stay here with these people again. The rooms are comfortable with good AC and wet room, all very clean. It's a lovely design in the main area and very nice to sit and enjoy during the mornings and evenings. In terms of location it doesn't take long by Grab to get around the city, and there are places and restaurants that are even within walking distance.

A very lovely and cozy homestay with friendly and helpful staff that felt like our own friends and family at the end of our stay. Location was excellent, just off right behind a trade center, so close to the palace and traditional markets. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Transport was easy. Quiet neighborhood.

Some people smoked outside the rooms. The smoke got inside our room.

The location, the building, the food, the ambience, the staff—everything about it was wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay there. We were made to feel like part of the family. We would definitely go again. Highly recommended!

Ici vous trouverez tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour découvrir Surakarta et sa région. Rifar, le gérant des lieux vous proposera des excursions à la journée, de bons conseils pour découvrir la ville, une location de scooter ou une bonne adresse pour manger. Ici, on se sent comme en famille avec un personnel toujours aimable et souriant et cerise sur le gâteau Dwi propose des massages de qualité sur place. Nous devions rester une nuit, nous sommes restés une semaine ! Merci aussi à Kus Kus qui fait partie du staff. Terima kasih.

Bon emplacement. Hôtes sympathiques

Pas de lavabo dans la salle de bains. Si on veut se laver les mains ou brosser les dents, on se mouille ausi les pieds! Pas très pratique. Pas d'eau chaude !! Sur demande, on vous apporte une bassine d'eau bouillante et une louche. A vous de faire le mélange. Pas pratique quand on doit se laver les cheveux Le propriétaire a connu un problème durant mon séjour. La maison a été envahie de personnes qui mangeaient, riaient, parlaient de très tôt le matin jusqu'à très tard dans la nuit. Pas de possibilité de profiter du jardin extérieur et de tranquillité pour prendre son petit déjeuner. On se sentait observés tout le temps. On est partis au bout de 2 nuits. Quand on tient une maison d'hôte, quelques soient les circonstances, le client doit être respecté. L'hôte nous conseille un restaurant près de l'hôtel très bien d'après lui. Le restaurant est minuscule, la nourriture est correcte mais le propriétaire est très peu sympathique : on a le sentiment de le déranger. Et de plus, la propreté laisse à désirer. A éviter
