Doeloerkoe Homestay

I absolutely loved my stay at Doeloerkoe Homestay. The room is comfortable, the price is affordable and the location is great, right outside the keraton, in a beautiful old Dutch house. The big table in the courtyard creates a great setting for meeting other guests, which was lovely. But above all, it were Rifat, Dwi and Kusni who made my stay so wonderful. They are so warm, friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make me feel completely at home! No request was too much for them. Rifat, who speaks many languages, gave me great advice on what to do in Solo, and even took me around to show me some places. Two days/nights in Solo is not enough, the city may be small, but there is so much to see and do. I highly recommend everyone to stay with the Doeloerkoe family, you will not regret it. Aku akan kembali!

A wonderful stay.Rifat is the perfect host and the welcome is very warm. He shared his knowledge and advice freely and went out of his way to ensure I had the best experience of Solo in my limited time. The Homestay is clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good

Nous sommes restées deux nuits dans cet hébergement. La chambre est assez sommaire mais confortable et propre. Le personnel est adorable, très attentionné et plein de bons conseils pour occuper son séjour si jamais vous avez besoin d’idées ou bonnes adresses!

Si tú quieres estar en un sitio dónde te sientas como en casa este es tu lugar. La Homestay está bien situada con una decoración muy bonita típica Indonesia, y con unas habitaciones amplias. Pero lo mejor son la gente que trabaja en ella. Siempre dispuestos a ayudarte en todo, te organizan excursiones, te llevan a cambiar dinero o te ayudan para coger una tarjeta para el tren (el billete nos costaba 25€ y gracias a su ayuda pagamos 2€). Además son muy divertidos, lo hemos pasado muy bien en las conversaciones después de la cena, nos hemos reído mucho, incluso cogimos una noche más solo para disfrutar de su compañía. Muchas gracias, Djwi, Kusni, Rifat, Wahyu y a los demás, nos hicisteis un viaje muy ameno y divertido, nos llevamos un buen recuerdo. Terima Kasih

Ons verblijf hier was heel fijn! De kamer was ruim met goede bedden, het ontbijt heerlijk, maar bovenal waren de hosts zo lief! Bij aankomst kregen we meteen een verfrissend drankje en allerlei tips om in Solo te bezoeken. Ze waren erg begaan met ons en dat maakte ons verblijf hier nog beter!

Lo staff è disponibile, gentile e molto amichevole. Abbiamo ricevuto consigli molto utili per visitare la città e per gli spostamenti. Organizzano anche escursioni guidate nei dintorni della città. Letti comodi, bel giardino interno molto curato.

In bagno non ci sono i lavandini, come in molte case a Giava

The homeliness of the place was simply outstanding. RIFAT (the manager) was just so supportive and friendly at all times and I could see from the interaction he had with me and fellow occupants that he went out of his way to make everyone feel at home. The staff were always attentive and the extra "add-on" of a family-style "goodbye and see you again" send off was simply heart-warming. Keep it up RIFAT, you have an amazing place which is cost-effective and vey comfortable. 5 star!
