"Handy, quiet, convenient room."

Great location just 10 minutes walk from York Minster. Bathroom in the loft room is small due to sloping roof and as I’m 6ft I was unable to stand at toilet or sink but more a minor inconvenience for what was a pleasant stay.

"Our visit to York"

Quiet location, even though only 10mins from the centre. Peter, the landlord was very welcoming and discreet. We had no issues with a shared bathroom, it works very well. We had a wonderful stay in York !!

"Lovely Georgian townhouse, comfortable and clean"

Lovely Georgian townhouse at the end of Gillygate, a short walk into town. Very close attention was paid to the cleanliness of the place. The bathrooms were cleaned throughout the day and night. Peter is a very hospitable host. It was excellent value for us and we would stay again in future.

The building and room itself were clean and cosy, with everything required for a comfortable stay provides. Only minor point is the headspace in the bathroom, but this is mentioned in the property brief so cannot complain. Just mind your head!
