The Townhouse Central York

The property was well maintained & very cleanly, not to mention in a great location, particularly when you consider there was on-site parking. I was a little apprehensive regarding the shared bathroom, but as previous reviews have stated, it was barely noticeable & certainly didn’t impact on the stay. The owner was attentive without being overwhelming & I would more than recommend.

Very close to centre of York. Lovely building and comfortable space

Small en-suite with slanted roof, but we were aware of this in advance. Would not prevent me from coming again, but one to bare in mind if you’re tall

Location was convenient to walk to train and bus stations and very convenient to reach the center of York. Facilities were very clean.

The Townhouse was beautifully decorated. The host’s attention to detail is impeccable. Peter gave us a warm welcome and was incredibly kind when we had a little “vino on clothing” mishap! I am looking forward to staying here again.

Absolutely nothing

It's a really lovely place short walk from the old centre. The room is cosy and clean and well equipped. The bathroom is shared between two rooms, but it's a short walk across the corridor, and is spotless clean. The host was very friendly and helpful, sent us all info in a timely manner and kindly arranged parking for two cars.

Great location in a quiet residential street. This beautiful house is maintained to the highest standard and every aspect was perfect. The host was so kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return next time that we are in York.

Peter was a great host and the room and shared bathroom were spotless.

The bathroom was spotlessly clean. The location was ideal near the city centre and some great local restaurants. Also the free parking is ideal.

For us the bed was not substantial enough. We are both very tall and the mattress was quite thin.
