PRIVATE ROOMS IN CENTRAL AUCKLAND

Cheap, location in the city, cooking facilities is there and free to use. There is free towel to use.

Smelly room (mouldy smell) and toilet (shared bathroom and some of them smoke in the toilet🤦‍♀️). It’s winter, and there’s no heater in the room/house at all. You can’t even dry your towel. We didn’t received the passkey to the door before we arrived. And we got in our room, it’s so small that after you put the luggage it’s difficult to open the door lol. And they prepare only one towel for two person??? Overall, the one star is for the price, another star is for the location. For the room itself, it’s the worst accommodation to me in this trip to New Zealand.

Would be nice to have a heater for cold nights. Parking is a bit tricky. Got used to the road noise.

It has potential, but it’s important that they dedicate time to cleaning. The bathroom was very dirty, there was no bath mat, and there was a towel on the floor that stayed there the whole time and was never changed. There were cobwebs in the bathroom and the kitchen. The room had a musty smell

Overall, it was nice. The bed was comfortable and clean. You will feel safe because the door has smart lock capability. You need a PIN to access the house. The property owner will give the PIN upon successful booking. Highly recommended because apart from photos being accurate, the owner (even though non-English speaker), was communicating with us and understanding and extended help when needed.

Well, understandable that the property is old, so expect no 5-star facility. It was still very good considering the structure was old, but the house is still very good even for 1 day or longer days of stay.

Ideal budget room. Nice sitting room facilities. Basic room. Hosts were very kind and let us leave our big bags in the sitting room when we went off exploring after checkout before our flight home.

Not central Auckland at all. In Mount Wellington be aware before you book. We spent a huge amount of time and money on trains and taxis getting in and out of Auckland cbd. Train was $6 each way and taxi was $55 each time. Room had daddylongleg spiders breeding and some ants feeding on the leaves on the window. Bathroom had some drops of blood on floor but again for budget accomodation we were not expecting much.
