Mangga homestay Gili air

The room was very comfortable and clean and the staff were very friendly.

It was a bit of a walk from the harbour.

- very very nice and helpful staff - Location (you can walk everywhere on the island in 15 minutes) - Breakfast basic, but good - Shampoo and shower gel available - Bed comfortable - Air conditioning good - very clean - offer snorkeling trips and transportation to other cities - balcony was very cool

- wifi was sometimes not so stable in my room (bad for working / meetings) - tried various wifis - no free drinking water - very basic, not modern - holes had been drilled in the bathroom window, which caused mosquitoes to come in from time to time

- Breakfast is included and it is okay - The guys on site were friendly and helpful - The AC works very very good at anytime of the day - Good budget option, close to the north beach

- You have to pay 5k for water refills - Some broken bathroom tiles are taped - The room is very small - You can hear every noise from outside, so the kitchen at breakfast time and people ordering woke us every morning up

The room we stayed in was very nice and clean. The staff were really helpful and provided detailed information of things to do and visit on the island. Highly recommend.

The room is nice and doesn't get really bright in the mornings which is good for a sensitive sleeper like me. Couldn't hear the mosque. It's in a more rural part of the island but I wasn't disturbed by chickens. Bed is comfy, AC is strong. Hot water. When there was a power cut on the island the homestay still had electricity which was a godsend.

The room was simple but had everything you need. Bed was comfortable and all was very clean. Nice balcony to sit and enjoy breakfast or just relax. The breakfast was nice. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nice to have bicycles on site to rent since it's not located close to any beaches.

It would be nice if mosquito nets were provided. I had my own in any case. If you're not going to get a bicycle and just walk, it is a bit away from the main area and beaches, so be prepared for a lot of walking. A bit expensive.

The place is great! Staff is nice, the room clean and everything functioning perfectly. It has hot water. The breakfast is very good. They rent bikes.

It's a bit far from the pier, but most of the street is cement, so if you have a bag with wheels is not a problem. You can hear the prays of mosque, but not too loud. The wifi is not the best. The bed was not too comfy.

The service from the team at Mangga was great. They were always happy to help. The daily breakfast is also a great plus.

Great place with great staff. Would come again when I’m on Gili Air.

Nothing really, it is a bit pricey.
