Very new and cosy room. Extremly friendly and helpful host family. Location very near to the Lake.

The hospitality is incredible! We were welcomed with fresh juices and the property owner and his family went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. They gave us recommendations on things to do, contact information for a driver, and even went to the train station to help us get tickets for the Kandy-Ella train. They provided full-sized amenities in the room and the shower temperature and water pressure were the best we had in Sri Lanka. The location of the B&B is also great. There’s a peaceful balcony off of the room, and you can walk to the lake in 5-10 min; we were centrally located to everything so we walked most of the time, though getting a tuk tuk was also easy.

There was nothing we didn’t like, we would stay here again without hesitation. The property owner even followed up with us after our stay to ensure we made it to our next destination safely.

Small family guesthouse, a lot of thought and care has gone into the rooms, with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the best shower we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far! Hosts are lovely, and there is a beautiful view of the Kandy hills from the breakfast table.

This is the best place to stay in Kandy. We had such a great time at the Y&Y. Amazing room, super clean and the facilities and bathroom are amazing! We would always come back here if we would stay in Kandy. Absolutely great!

The best room I had in this price range on my tour in Sri Lanka until now. Wonderful bathroom with all the amenities needed. A one room only guesthouse owned by a lovely family. 😍

This was the nicest place I stayed in during my time in Sri Lanka. The room was spotless and had many great amenities (strong a/c and fan, good wifi, common area and balcony, etc). I was very comfortable during my stay here. The location is a short walk to the city center and in a very calm neighborhood which is great if you want a quiet place to rest. The family that runs the property is very responsive and sweet.

I had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The owner and their children were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to the experience, making me feel truly welcome. The room was comfortable, and the attention to detail in the service was commendable. I highly recommend this establishment, and I extend my sincere compliments to the owner and their delightful family for creating such a pleasant atmosphere

The property wasn’t easy to find by our driver. If you look on Google maps the Y&Y residence is clearly marked in the correct location - I would suggest using that rather than the address.
