The hosts were extremely nice and very accommodating. We sang karaoke and she cooked the best meals. Room was simple but the bed was very comfortable. See you again Sister <3

Need improve more in Homestay facility spacial in the entrance, need stair to Homestay.

The homestay is basic but the family was so warmhearth and welcoming and we loved to stay with them. The house is under renovation and soon also the facilities will be improved. The balcony was finished during our stay so now it's possible to relax there with a beautiful view over the rice fields. Yessi is a wonderful cook. If someone has time it's also possible to teach English to the kids of the village, Yessi can arrange it. Yessi and her husband Nahar were also very helpful by picking us up from the airport and helping us to buy the bus tickets to our next destination. The communication before our arrival was excellent. We had a wonderful stay with Yesi and her family! Yesi is such a nice and caring host, and welcomes you as a part of her family. It's the most authentic homestay we have visited in Indonesia. The facilities are basic, but they are building a proper shower and a new terrace at the moment and do anything to make you feel at home. Everything is taken care of - from breakfast to dinner, organising a boat trip through the amazing Karst landscape, and helping us with buying bus tickets to Toraja! We helped Yesi in the kitchen, played soccer with the children and cuddled the baby cat :) Thanks for the enriching time at your house 🙏

The new house was very comfortable, we had a clean room with bedsheets and a fan. The view is stunning and perfect for your breakfast.

Really warm welcoming from Yesi. She helped us a lot to go around and to organise our next stops! Her family made as feel like we are part of it for 2 days.

Great hospitality! Yesi & the family are so nice and they share everything they have, we had a perfect stay. Bathroom is really basic (authentic indonesian experience), but clean. If you want luxury or western bathroom, then maybe this is not for you, but you would miss out on a beautiful stay with a lovely family. Food was also very good, we are vegans, and Yesi cooked great meals for us (although we havent announced it before). They also helped with the tour on the boat. (You could give english lessons to the kids/village while there, if you want. We only learnt this too late unfortunately - great idea!)

A very friendly family, will go above and beyond to help you and accommodate you. The food is very good but a bit pricey though. If you want to help the kids learn English you can talk to Yessi and she will make it possible for you to volunteer. They provided us with a mosquito net. Check-in whenever you want, they can arrange a bus for you to go to Rantepao. Good experience

A few things you should be aware of before booking here. First of all, be aware that you will be living in the same small space as the family, and that the kids are kids, so they might be noisy. As of now, they are building a balcony so you might not be able to rest. It looks like the rooms could do with some more work as well. One of them does not have a door, the bathroom is a squat toilet and shower (bucket one) at the same time, and there might be water restrictions. The door to the bathroom has a gap so there is not much privacy. Also, there is limited privacy as there is no ceiling to the room, just the roof, so if your neighbours turn on the light, you will have the light as well.
