Sigiri Sithru Home Stay

Beautiful and peaceful nest in a quiet area. The host was really sweet and serve the absolute best breakfast. The gardens are gorgeous! 100% recommend

I only have words of gratitude for Sithru 💜. What a wonderful, warm and honest woman. Her place is paradise. I am so happy that I chose this place and after 1 day it became my home. I booked for 2 nights, but as soon as she welcomed me and showed me the room I extended my stay for 2 more nights. The room is spacious, suuper clean, with natural light, a comfortable bed and a big desk. The room has everything you might need (towel, hot water, hand towel, bath mat, hand soap, hair dryer, fan and a mosquito net). The room, the outside area and the garden reflect all the love that Sithru, her daughter, and her son have put into this place. I'm sure you will feel at home. Breakfast is amazing, big, fresh, homemade and full of love. I have tried different ones, my favourite was the banana roti 🥹. Every time I needed hot water, they were always kind enough to fill up my thermo. I shared really nice moments and conversations with Sithru, I won't forget my stay here. This is definitely the best place I have stayed in Sri Lanka. Without a doubt, this is where you should stay if you are visiting Sigiriya. The room was good (with a fan) and calm. You have 2 chairs outside to enjoy the view on the garden. The family was very kind and present for us. The breakfast was AMAZING. We stayed 7 nights and every morning we had this homemade breakfast outside with a great view and sometimes you can see animals. Good place next to good restaurants. Very worth it ! It totally deserved this great mark!

Sometimes it can be humid but it’s not the fault of the homestay but just weather conditions in Sigiriya.

Lovely residence with a lush garden. Host is a wonderful lady who went above and beyond to accommodate us and make us feel right at home. They organised a jeep safari to the Eco Reserve which we can highly recommend. The host even made us an early breakfast when we had to take the morning bus to Kandy. 100% recommend this place!
