Sigiri Sithru Home Stay

We loved our stay here at Sigiri Sithru, we were warmly welcomed with a welcome drink and were able to settle in comfortably. Our breakfast was amazing! It was so lovely to sit out the front and watch animals and nature. It’s about a 40 min walk outside of the centre of Sigiriya but there are tuk tuks that will drive past which you can hop in and there are also places to have dinner near by! The place was the cleanest we have stayed in in Sri Lanka! We will be back!

The wifi is a little on and off but that’s normal for Sri Lanka!

We spent two nights at the Sigiri Sithru Home and had a great time! The family welcomed us with open arms and assisted us with whatever help we needed. The room was very spacious and clean, the breakfast delicious! It was the perfect place to spend our first days in Sri Lanka!

The atmosphere was quiet and serene. The host were great and welcoming. The property is at roadside but it's a bit difficult to get tuktuks.

the room was big, clean and with a fan and ac, the bathroom was nice as well. there is a separate entrance for the room which is great. the homeowner is very nice and a great cook. her breakfasts were divine (please note that we asked her for smaller portions because we do not eat much). would recommend!

you have to find a tuktuk driver because it is not that close to pirudangala rock for example, you cannot go by foot. but i think more or less anything you would choose would be the same.

The location is perfect, the room is amazing and everything is really clean! The owner is a special person and she has amazing culinary skills - ask for a dinner you will not regret

This has been my best stay in Sri Lanka so far. Sithru is the most kind host who is always ready to help. Everything was simply perfect. She’s an amazing as well. Both the breakfast and dinner were so delicious! I highly recommend this stay. The room was excellent, and if you want air conditioning, you can request it for a small fee. You can arrange a tuk-tuk to visit Pidurangula Rock, and it’s also possible to rent a bicycle. You can also visit the Cave Temple in Dambulla via public transportation

Indiga is such a great and lovely guy! Felt like home
