Sea sound cabana & Restaurant

Sea sound is well located close to the beach. The staff were friendly. We didn’t remain for the full booking due to a change in plans. It is good value for money.

I wished that it would have had air conditioning.

Super Lage direkt am ruhigen Strand wo man wunderbar Schildkröten beobachten kann. Freundliches Personal und die Anlage war gepflegt. Sehr günstig, für 1-2 Tage gut machbar, länger hätten wir nicht bleiben wollen.

Schmutzige wenig gepflegte Zimmer, Flecken auf der Bettwäsche, Unmengen von Ameisen im Bett. Zudem reichlich Tiere im Badezimmer (Frösche und Eidechsen) wobei uns diese nicht gestört haben. Auch das Bett war sehr laut.

El alojamiento es en cabañas con una pequeña terraza para disfrutar del jardín, en mi caso tenía una hamaca y ha sido un gustazo tumbarme allí los momentos de más calor. La playa está a nada, no llega ni a 5 minutos andando, la zona es más bien virgen, en un momento te puedes encontrar con monos, pavos reales, gallos salvajes...un sitio muy tranquilo para relajarse durante unos días. La playa es una maravilla. El personal es muy amable y atento.

Estuvo todo bien

Great place off the path directly in nature surrounded by nature sounds, coconut treats and all kinds of animals running around. It’s a quick walk to the beach. And the beach is my favorite of the ones we visited as it is sooo long, amazing waves to watch and still so secluded. If you want to stay out of the noise of the town, be in nature and have Long Beach walks compared with great restaurants in walking distance you‘ll love it here. Staff is also super helpful and will help you organize whatever you need!

The only very small thing they could improve is the lightning :D it seems to be a common thing in Sri Lanka to have white lights everywhere. It’s not very inviting to chill in the room or outside on the terrace… but that’s just my taste, I prefer warm light bulbs :)

The family here are lovely. The food is incredible, very tasty, big portions, and at a very good price. The beach is literally a 2minute walk from the property. If you like to be in nature and you like peaceful surroundings, this is for you. The area is beautiful. We spent a morning kayaking on the Rekawa Lake, and it was probably one of the best things we have done here in Sri Lanka. The wildlife was in abundance, the sunrise was beautiful, and we were the only people on the lake apart from one lonely fishman, a great photo opportunity was had while the sun was rising. I would say if you have hot weather then you will need to book a room with air con. We booked the room thinking a fan would be enough, but it was hot, even at night. The bathroom could benefit from a little attention. Overall, excellent stay and I would stay here again, 100%.
