Sehr nettes und hilfreiches Personal, gute Ausstattung, günstiger Preis.

Im Badezimmer viele Insekten, (nicht ihre Schuld) man muss sehr viel nach oben laufen zum Bahnhof

Das Zimmer war sehr gross und die Betten bequem. Auch das Badezimmer war geräumig. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig inmitten der Natur. Einfache Unterkunft, aber vollkommen ausreichend.

Warmwasser-Boiler kaputt. Service eine Katastrophe! 3 Stunden auf das Abendessen gewartet, von komplett zugedröhnten Typen als Reispaket aus einem Geschäft 'serviert'. Wartezeit auf Frühstück 1 1/2 Stunden!!!

Las fotografías no corresponden con el hospedaje. En agosto de 2025 parece que esté todavía en construcción. Los cristales de las ventanas no encajan con los marcos y entra ruido y frío. También falta limpieza en las habitaciones.

This is in a fantastic location for visiting Horton plains. Really quiet little village. Hosts were brilliantly friendly and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Dinner was incredible value and beer was available. Great place to meet locals cos it's the bar/restaurant for the village. Host was really sweet and woke up early to make us a packed breakfast for our early hike start.

The room is basic, but that's what you're paying for. The actual room is a little drive and walk up from the bar/restaurant area.

Ohiya Jungle Resort is a lovely and cozy place to stay at a very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was really good. The owner, Mr. Nihal, is very kind and supported us a lot during our stay. The room was small but very clean and neat — perfect for a peaceful getaway. Highly recommended for nature lovers!

We had a wonderful stay at Ohiya Jungle Resort! The natural surroundings are absolutely stunning — perfect for anyone who loves peaceful and scenic getaways. The breakfast was delicious, and the host was always ready to help with anything we needed. A truly relaxing experience in the middle of nature. Highly recommended!

It was a fair way from the Pekoe Trail but there were few other accommodation options on stages 10 and 11. Our hosts were wonderful and looked after us including arranging for us to be picked up by tuk tuk from the Ohiya train station. The facilities were fairly basic but adequate and it was a quiet and rural environment. We were provided with two very nice meals. Again, our hosts arranged for us to be transported back to the Devils Staircase on the Trail the next morning which was greatly appreciated as it was all uphill from the accommodation to the Trail.
