Homestay Eve

The place is close from every touristic place and her house feels like home. She’s so kind and helped us with the luggage, prepare us food at night and take care of us like her kids. Also she gave us a face mask and always care for us.

It’s like a Korean movie place, it’s very clean and it’s a traditional house. The experience is very worth-going and the food is amazing. She cooked exactly like a mom.

Eve was incredibly kind and welcoming from the very start. She provided clear and detailed instructions on how to get from the airport to the accommodation, which was a huge help since we weren’t yet familiar with the public transport system. Despite the language barrier, we shared a lovely evening together enjoying Korean beer and snacks, and she gave us recommendations for things to see and do in Seoul. Each morning, she served us thoughtfully prepared and delicious breakfast. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful stay!

Nah an der Metro 4 Myeondong. Direkter Bus 6001 vom Flughafen Incheon. Ruhige Seitengasse. Täglich hausgemachtes Frühstück. Zimmer befindet sich in der Wohung der Gastgeberin. Man lebt wie in einer Wohngemeinschaft.

The host is lovely and really goes out of her way to assist. She made breakfast for me and adapted it to my vegetarian diet. On the second day she assisted me with my luggage and last me leave it at her shop and also made sure I had an umbrella when it was raining.

It is confusing in the description if you have a private bathroom; it is in fact shared with the host as you are actually sharing the 2 bedroom apartment with her. In the end it was fine but it is a very small apartment with not much else to enjoy but your own room esp if it is raining. The description made it sound more like a guesthouse with lounge and other areas but that was not the case. If I had known that I would not have booked there and for this reason I don’t think it is great value for money.

Great location. Friendly, accommodating, fun host. Made us curry for breakfast. Took us out for dinner one day when we were not available for breakfast. Very generous.

The listing advertised a private bathroom but this is unfortunately not true as the bathroom is shared with the host. We strongly preferred having our own bathroom so we likely would not have booked if we were aware of this.

Very quiet and in a great location in Seoul. You are basically staying in a room as a guest in the apartment of a Korean family, which I found cosy. Great local breakfast served by Eve.

No complaints

Perfect location in the city Center in Myeongdong and many popular places are walkable, and the metro and bus stop if few meters away. Eve our host was very proactive in providing information of travel and checking our travel timings. She also made with lots of love a traditional Korean breakfast everyday which we enjoyed with some Korean news on the TV. She adapted the breakfast to our request of being vegetarians. On our day of departure it was raining heavily and she offered us an umbrella to take along, our first experience of kindness of Korean people. Thank you for the lovely stay in Seoul.

Very minor- The cooking smell was for a long time in the room and if you are not accustomed to the smell might be uneasy for sometime.
