Sky Cozy House

Mr Shin was lovely and a fantastic host. I would recommend this guest house to anyone coming to Seoul. The guest house is conveniently located next to Seoul train station, making it fairly easy to travel around Seoul and catch trains to other cities in South Korea.

The host was very nice. Went out all the way to meet us. Served us banana milk. Place was very well equipped. Totally comfortable.

The host is amazing! Mr Shin and his wife were very kind and welcoming. Every morning they would prepare Korean breakfast for us, so we could save on breakfast expenses and taste genuine Korean food too! When I fell sick, they were more than willing to give me their traditional medication, and were intentional to check on how I was doing. They even prepared foods that would help my sickness. When we needed to wash our clothing, Mrs Shin helped us dry our clothing, and also helped to tidy our room even though she didn't need to. Mr Shin goes the extra mile to explain the map around Seoul to us, including short cuts and how to get around the area. He also intentionally brought us to the station and our new hotel even though it was raining. They're both such lovely people, and we really enjoyed our stay there. Moreover, the location of the house is immensely convenient. Seoul station is central, and there are many buses and train lines available to travel to many places. It takes half an hour tops to travel to placed like Hongdae and Gangnam from this house. Overall highly highly highly recommend!

you don’t have apartment to yourself which was a surprise to me, but it was no problem! the hosts are great and you’ll have a key to get in and out

location was very good, being close to Seoul Central Railway Station, but difficult to find. Would help if host sent a map. He gave us a card with a map after we arrived.

This really is an air B&B being a room in the hosts house rather than a hotel type room. Would have benefitted from a kettle being in the room. Host had asked us to contact him for access but found that the mobile did not work for a text message, without wi-fi. Luckily a security guard helped us out.

The owners are exceptionally nice. He even walked to the train station (around a 7 minute walk) to help me carry my luggage to the apartment and gave me a great recommendation of going to Myeongdong from the new Seollo high park which is a block from the residence. A very comfortable bed, large room and a separated shower in the bathroom. Coffee and tea were available and he even prepared me a nice breakfast, though it wasn’t included in the booking. :)

The room is in the owner’s family apartment, so maybe that could turn some people off if they prefer a private stay. But the room door locks and you have plenty of privacy and space. It wasn’t an issue for me at all.

The location was perfect. Just next to the Seoul Station. Very hospitable and attentive hosts. Thank you!
