Location is great and the room is very spacious.

Check-in and communication with the host were challenging. Only by reading the reviews was I able to figure out which apartment it was. Martina doesn’t speak any English, and I have no Italian. I advised that I was arriving at 1 pm, and I did, but there was no answer when I tried to contact Martina through Booking.com, WhatsApp, or phone call. Twenty minutes later, I received instructions on how to get to the apartment. The keys are in the post box located inside the building, and to get inside the building, you have to wait for someone to leave or enter so they can let you in. Everything inside the apartment is very old. It is clean but badly needs some renovation. There are people living in the apartment, so you share the bathroom. The breakfast location wasn’t clear. I knew from the reviews that it was the café downstairs, but I wasn’t sure which one. I sent a message to Martina to ask for directions, but I received no reply. The next morning, I met Martina in the corridor, and she told me the breakfast is served at Pasticceria Pfatisch. It is only coffee and a croissant that you can have as your free breakfast. Check-out was not clear either. As I was leaving early in the morning at 3 am, I sent a text the night before but got no reply. So I left and in the afternoon, got two voicemails, WhatsApp messages from Martina all in Italian, asking about the keys. Hope it is helpful to someone.
