Guesthouse Congo Tempisque

One of the best spots I've stayed at in Costa Rica and definitely the best in Liberia. If you are going to or from the airport, this is the perfect place to stay the night. There's a market within 5 minute walk, 10-15 min drive to the airport, and lots of little coffee shops and food nearby as well. Jose keeps everything so clean and well maintained. I love the garden and outside patio complete with shared kitchen. The rooms are very functional with night stand, lamp, hooks chair, trash, and shelves (these seem obvious, but most places don't have!).

My stay was fantastic. I don't think there's anything I can complain about. I will definite return next time I'm in Liberia.

Situé à 15 minutes de l'aéroport de Liberia nous avons eu tout le confort nécessaire pour la notre dernière nuit avant notre retour à la maison. Air climatisé et confort dans la chambre, eau chaude pour la douche. Accès à une épicerie et à une cuisinette pour nos repas, quelques restos à proximité. Notre hôte est au petits soin, nous accueille avec des bouteilles d'eau fraîche, limonade et café offert. Possibilité de laisser nos bagages au besoin pour profiter des lieux avant le départ vers l'aéroport.

Tout était à notre convenance toutefois en raison de la grandeur de la pièce, il faut savoir que le lit double est collé au mur et n'offre pas de tables de chevets si c'est un besoin.

I just was a little unsure about how to get a cup of coffee in the morning. I also would have liked another lock on the door.

Juan made me feel instantly at home. I had never met him before but he greeted me like an old friend. Went out of his way to make me comfortable and at ease. I was traveling alone so was very happy to a great host in a nice little place to stay.
