Family owned property, amazing location. The rooms are well kept and spacious. Everything felt clean and new.

Our stay there was amazing, the host and her family were really nice, we felt like we were at home. The room was very clean and comfortable we had no problems at all. The host is an amazing cooker and she's also an English teacher so we had the chance to participate in a class with her students. Her husband even taught me how to drive a motorbike, we booked all the tours and buses with them at a very good price. If you have the chance to go to Catba you should definitely come here!

Such a lovely host, we were only there for one night unfortunately. But she made us amazing lunch and breakfast and helped booking our bus to Ninh Binh! Everything is clean and they even gave us extra blankets because of the cold. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. We felt very welcome since our arrival by the very nice family. In addition to their great hospitality, they speak a perfect English (the lady is an English teacher) and they offered us the cheapest boat tour around the bay that we have found. Our room was big enough, very comfortable, perfectly clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The wifi worked perfectly. We definitely recommend this place to stay on this wonderful island!

Excellent value for money. Rooms are spacious and modern, the bathroom is brand new. But more than an accommodation, Rustic Homestay is a very friendly and welcoming place. If you are lucky, the owners will probably inviting you to dinner. They will pampering yourself and helping you for absolutely everything. It’s a very lovely place.

Feeling sad when leaving this place!

The owner was very friendly and always went out of her way to help us with anything we needed, from arranging a boat trip to Lan Ha bay, helping us with bus transport, washing our clothes, to renting us a motorbike for a very reasonable price. Her fluency in english was a definite plus. The family's home was a lovely place to stay, located on a calm street not too far from the city center. We appreciated the complimentary coffee and bottled water provided. All in all, we had a great stay here and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

The only minor issue we had was that there was a lot of unnecessary clutter in the bathroom.
