The Sun Homestay

It’s location, walking distance to Hoi An old town. Eating places are all around. The owner is our high light. Hoi is very attentive and so what she can to accommodate her guests.

In the morning, if you sit outside might smell the drain but it’s just about most places. We can’t control that.

The host was so helpful during my 4 night stay. She also had a tailoring shop, with a display in the front lobby. I was able to get a silk dress custom tailored for me at a really great price. Very walkable area. Bikes were also available for rent.

Host was nice. Bike rentals were higher quality bicycles than other places. Location was good. Host called me a cab to airport for competitive price.

My primary issue here was the value of what you get vs. what you pay. I stayed at another place less than a 10 minute walk away for the same price which was vastly superior. - internet barely worked - electricity was unstable and even had a several hour outage - shower was either no pressure and burning hot or pressure and cold - mold on the ceiling, unclean under the bed - no regular cleaning or towel swap - most places offer bicycle for free Not that I need all of this, I was able to stay for 4 nights - but the place simply isn’t competitive to other properties at that price point.

Everything about this property was perfect. Amazing husband and wife run the place and make you feel at home while giving you your space. The location is absolutely perfect and the price is impossible to beat.

The shower head was weak, but the water was always hot so this is a very minor complaint.

Excellent location, friendly staff with a lot of service options, good quality for the price.

I didn't mind, but travelers should know there is no elevator, but it's only 3 floors total
