Simple, basic, budget friendly, does the trick. No complaints. Hosts were very lovely and helpful (though no english, so practise your basic spanish!). Short easy walk to town. San Cristobal is very safe so no issues walking to and from the accomm any hour of the day.

The host was lovely. She gave us some information about the best tourist spots when we arrived. She also gave an extra blanket when we asked. The beds were comfortable. The room and bathroom have outdated decor (as pictured) and clean on initial glance (there are some cobwebs in the corner and bugs like ants and a cockroach are able to get in due to the nature of how the building is constructed. It was nice to have a big fan, strong WiFi, and access to drinking water in the family home. The shower has tepid water. A 12 minute walk to the centre of town/ferry port.

I made a big mistake of renting this place for the three weeks that I was going to be in the islands. It is located up by the hospital, which is a further distance than what I prefer, and mostly up hill. The biggest problem I found was NO AIR CON. The kitchen, if it was not continuously clean, had many ants. Enough that you chose not to cook. Also, I know some of the other people are calling them roaches, and other names, but in the United States, we call them roly-polys. They don’t bite as far as I know, but it’s just not pleasant to see them all in your shower and walking all over your floor especially in the middle of the night when you don’t know if you’re stepping on them or not. The toilet paper that I used there was not for personal use but to pick these bugs up, smash them and put them in the garbage. I chose to only stay one week even though I paid for three because I just could not do it. I was miserable there. And oddly enough, no passport was needed or any identification. Usually that is the first thing they ask for along with the payment.

10 starts! Nice place, very affordable, the owner she is very friendly and helpful she gave me a lot of important info and help me with some reservations that I had to make. I would really recommend it and deff will stay there again if I come back to Galapagos. Muchas gracias!

The bed was comfy and the lady working there was very nice. I was allowed to use her kitchen to make dinner. There was snorkel equipment available to rent for $3 a day. There was water to drink and the wifi worked well. There were towels to use as well.

It was a little far away and hard to identify on the first day. The lock on the door was a little stiff
