Dan’s Sea Guest House Hangzhou

The hotel itself was really nice and the room was wonderful. It was especially nice to have a small outside area connected to our room. The breakfast was also good!

It was really hard to find the hotel. We could get to the correct area, but taxis cannot enter the back streets and would often get confused and leave us on the opposite end of the neighborhood. This meant it required a lot of walking to get back to the hotel.

Lovely breakfast and tea, warm host, peaceful and super clean with beautiful wood-themed rooms — a wonderful first impression of Hangzhou!

Just note there’s traffic restriction on weekends (9am–5pm), so no taxis or Grab during that time.

Everything. The staff was absolutely lovely. The breakfast was amazing. The room was very large and had everything we needed for a short stay. Super location.

Amazing attention from the staff! He helped me all the time, prior to the travel and during my stay. He booked an early Didi (taxi) for me since I didn’t have the app.

The location is a bit far from the lake, around 50min walk. But you have the option to rent a bike. It is worth it either way since the path is super beautiful! On the other side, it is located very close to the temple and point view.
