Great place! Alcalá has it all, and Alcamar's rooms gave me the confidence to stay and spend a very happy day. I recommend them. I'm happy to have met them. Thank you. Excellent location! The bed was super comfortable, and the sheets and towels were clean.

When I first arrived, I received a room in a subterranean flat; the room was in the middle of two other ones and did not have a window. Strange was the camera in the kitchen. As I was not convinced of the room I asked for other available accommodations. Mari reacted very quickly and offered me to upgrade to another room in another apartment on the second floor (for a little extra). This one was more comfortable, as it had a window to the sea side; the breeze from this direction made the apartment cooler, so air-conditioning was not missed (absent) - a fan was enough. The room as well as the bed was very comfortable, there was a little balcony and the kitchen had everything you might need (no oven though). This apartment also had 3 rooms; as I stayed alone most of my stay, I very much enjoyed the apartment! :) Internet was no problem. The written signs about rules might appear harsh in tone, but I did not have any problems (they appear to be more for problematic guests). Everything was clean. Mari was very friendly and helpful, I could reach her over WhatsApp and she always did her best to answer requests or recommend places. :) Communication was good. Would recommend.

Мені дуже сподобалося це житло! Дуже комфортне та затишне місце, де можна відпочити від міської метушні. Тут тихо й спокійно, відчувається справжня атмосфера відпочинку. У пішій доступності знаходяться три чудові пляжі – зручно обирати, куди піти щодня. Буквально за рогом є приємна кав’ярня, де щоранку можна насолоджуватися запашною кавою. А також зовсім поруч кілька цікавих ресторанів з неймовірно смачними рибними стравами. Ідеальне місце для відпочинку – поєднання комфорту, затишку та чудової локації. Обов’язково повернуся ще! 🌸

One of the worst stays I've had, after 15+ apartment bookings around the world. My first negative review I've had to write. Firstly this specific property, the walls are extremely thin. Zero privacy between your room & the room next to it. I raised this to Marie because I wanted a refund, and she offered me another apartment. In person, she charged me £300 extra more for the month to move into the new apartment. Only to find out a week later that she had overcharged me, because her prices for this apartment & her better ones were a lot cheaper on AirBNB. For the price is 1x month at £1000, I should have been in one of her better apartments. She then lied to me on Whatsapp, first the "prices listed are a mistake, I'm going to correct them", then "it's now low season", then "she doesn't set the prices, they're done automatically by the system". Whilst being condescending to me, telling me to not "fight over money", "not to be like everyone else, and life will go better for me". Surprisingly - I don't want to be overcharged, cheated & lied to??? She also claims her properties are affordable for the area. Couldn't be more wrong. I stayed another 2 weeks in Alcala at a different property, for the same nightly rate. It was one of the best apartments I've ever stayed in, great value for money. Avoid anything to do with Marie, watch out for her picture on the Booking.com & AirBNB listings.

It's extremely clean, and the bed is comfy (small room no1). You have almost everything you'll possibly need.

I had a small inconvenience where the landlord didn't send me check-in information on time. But I think that's not something that happens often. Also, the small room no1 has a little window hole, which is just covered with a picture frame, and it's not really isolating noise from the living room. Good thing that the guests at the time were very respectful about sleeping time

This apartment was very well located, few steps from the beach. Everything was clean.

- Very bright hearing, you can hear not only the noises from the neighbor (loud snoring) but also from outside - If the other travelers do not attach importance to neatness and cleanliness, then it is unfortunately not quite clean ... (we had bad luck) - the room has no window and is very very narrow, there is hardly any storage space inside the room - bit pricey for what you get
