Location was great

Goede locatie, alles op loopafstand. Hartelijke ontvangst . Vriendelijke gastvrouw die ondanks dat ze in dezelfde woning verbleef onopvallend aanwezig was Stond klaar bij vragen of voor tips Spreekt alleen Spaans, maar met vertaalapp goed te ondervangen. I.v.m. de warmte plaatste de gastvrouw zonder er om te hoeven vragen een ventilator in de kamer. Heel fijn!!

Beautiful apartment very centrally placed - could walk to The Guggenheim and the old town/river very easily. Immaculate room and private bathroom. There is even a little private balcony to sit out on. Amelia was very kind - we relied on google translate to communicate but she had a map for us and some cold water on a hot day.

Would have been good to feel we could use the kitchen more - we had access to the fridge to keep things cool but were not offered any other use (we didn't get a chance to ask as our paths didn't cross again)

The property is in an excellent location. I particularly liked that it was within 150m of the big park that is known as the green lung of Bilbao. But it is also brilliantly placed for the main shopping street, about a 10 minute walk to the Guggenheim Museum which was my primary reason for visiting Bilbao, but generally convenient for everything in the Centre of Bilbao. I was really pleased with this. Access is via a smart solid security door from the street level and there is a lift to the apartment which is on the 4th floor. The property has an Accommodation sign on it's door when you get out of the lift. I was met by the owner and she was very communicative via the online system and was there to meet me. The owner does not speak English but is an absolute whizz on google translate on her mobile phone!!! The owner is a very smartly dressed lady who keeps her property immaculately clean and tidy. Whilst there is no tea/coffee making facility in the room, the owner was happy for me to use the microwave to heat food or drinks that was available in her kitchen. My room had a lovely little balcony attached with floor to ceiling shutters and security blinds. The Wifi was excellent. In normal circumstances I would say this is a pleasantly quiet property and certainly overnight, this was the case, particularly with the security blinds down. I was very happy with the three night stay I had.

I am not a smoker and whilst my room certainly did not smell of cigarettes, in the mornings as went out, I could smell stale cigarette smoke. It was not strong, but I am very sensitive to this. As I said, in normal circumstances this would be a quiet location barring the fact that the streets around are narrow with bars and businesses along them so there is bound to be a level of noise to be expected. At the time of my stay, there was unfortunately the re-laying of the pavement surface going on in the street outside and at 830am a Hilti drill would start up but clearly this is only going to be for limited days/weeks.

Great host, easy check in. Bathroom is clean and well equipped with a great shower, however note it's not in the room but across the corridor. Balcony is nice. Bed is comfortable and room is clean. Good location

Very hot room, no air conditioning or fan means it's very warm in the room. No lock on the bedroom door.

Good location and friendly, helpful owner.

I am not so keen on staying in someone’s apartment even though the owner was only there during the day.
