This accommodation is stunning! With an amazing view and facilities. The host is lovely and made us feel very welcoming. This is an absolute must stay if you are in the area.

Awesome location, brilliant views and a very solid, quiet house - we had strong winds and hardly noticed.

Driveway is very steep and a bit bumpy. Wasn’t much of a problem getting out though.

Beautiful setting in Takaka hill, close to all your adventuring needs. Lovely cosy room, with extra comfortable bed! Facilities were spot on and hosts very welcoming. Great place to stay and hope to be back again!

Amazing view and setting. Friendly and environmentally conscious hosts. Spotless clean. We had the whole house to ourselves. Enjoyed the stars in the hottub.

Stunning house and location great for accessing Abel Tasman and surrounds.

A lack of clarity as to whether the host was going to be in the house also (they weren't in the end) and an incorrect accusation from the cleaners that we had left the bathroom in a state...

Everything from the views to the homely feel. And to Mark being such a legend of a host, he was so chill and welcoming when me and my partner arrived. Would definitely be back again 👌 p.s driveway is steep but definitely accessible in and out with your car just take it slow bro.

Everything! The location is a little remote and the driveway is a steep gravelroad with some sheep waiting or you from time to time, but it's absolutely worth the climb! The views are breathtaking! The jaccuzi on the terrace with a view down to Able Tasman NP is the best way to close a day. The shared kitchen and living area is huuuuuge with even a pool table included. There are also a washing maschine and a dryer you could use. And last but not least, the hosts are really lovely people you'd like to meet! This was our best stay in 3 weeks on the South Island. We'd definitely book again!

Heating the whole house is a little challenging if you're not used to light up wood in an oven and don't want to burn down other peoples homes. ;-).

Location, views, comfort, facilities, style and personality. Very friendly host (thanks Mark!). As you approach the impression is wonderful, but when you walk in...WOW! We will recommend this property to all our friends and family.

The views surrounding the house are spectacular, and it is unique in its setting. It is furnished with creative flair in one open plan space. It was well equipped and comfortable for our short stay . Pool table good fun !

The access road is very steep .We were glad to have 4WD!

It was a superb location - so peaceful with wonderful views. Our host, Mark, was not there so we had the entire beautiful house to ourselves. We soaked in the jacuzzi, washed clothes, cooked dinner in the well equipped kitchen, and spread out everything we owned to get ready for a 3-day tramp in Abel Tasman. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The driveway was a bit hard to navigate but well worth it.
